Burpee Challenge!
Join us on our 500 Burpee Challenge in August…
The infamous ‘Burpee’ exercise is tough. This single exercise helps improve:
Upper Body Strength
Lower Body Strength
Core Strength
Cardiovascular Fitness
Resting Heart Rate
Posture
It’s for this reason that we have chosen it for an August Challenge! We will incorporate 25 burpees into each of our online fitness classes in August (broken down into smaller chunks), so if you are joining us for the monthly block all you need to fit in is an extra 25 burpees another 2 days of the week (we’re even giving you 2 rest days).
The beauty of Burpees is that you can do them anywhere, with no equipment required and they will give you a HIIT blast to shake up your body.
There are different ways to perform a Burpee with varying levels of intensity, and the most important thing is that you choose the level which challenges you whilst maintaining good technique. Watch our video below for the different options.
You can record your results on our Burpee Record Sheet (which you can download here) and, if you want to, send them to us at the end of the month once the challenge is complete! We’d love to compile these together and make it a real group effort.
